Machine components and fixture elements from KIPP
The product group "Machine components, fixture elements" from KIPP is divided into six categories:
- Screws, nuts and washers
- Threaded inserts
- Drill bushes
- Connectors for profiles and profile systems
- Shaft collars, locking rings and clamp hubs
- Accessories for machine components and fixture elements
The product group primarily includes items for machine construction. Many products facilitate the day-to-day work of machine technicians and designers in the company.
Screws, nuts and washers
With 7025 items, this product family is the largest of KIPP's operating and standard parts range. It contains a wide variety of screws and bolts as well as the matching nuts and washers. Many of these screws are in hygienic USIT design and suitable for use in hygienic areas.
In addition to the classic screws the range also includes hex head bolts, cap screws, shoulder screws, pan head screws, countersunk screws and eye bolts.
Hex head screws and bolts are very versatile. They are primarily used in the field of machine construction. However, hex head screws/bolts are also frequently used in the automotive and electronics industries.
Most hex head screws from KIPP are made from stainless steel. The screws offer excellent strength and durability. They are easy to install and remove, making them an ideal choice for many applications.
The hex head screws are all manufactured in accordance with the current DIN and ISO standards, the KIPP range includes the following standards:
- DIN 931 / ISO 4014
- DIN 933 / ISO 4017
- DIN EN 1665
Cap screws are a special type of screw. They have a cylindrical head and are very strong. Due to their robust nature and reliability, these screws are often used in machine construction.
KIPP cap screws are made from untreated stainless steel or steel. The available screws are based on the following DIN standards:
- DIN 912
- DIN EN ISO 4762
- DIN 6912
Shoulder screws, on the other hand, are used in specific scenarios. For example, if the position of two workpieces needs to be secured or a screw connection needs to absorb lateral forces.
The following shoulder screws can be found in the KIPP range:
- Shoulder screws similar to ISO 7379
- Hex head shoulder screws with long threaded shaft similar to DIN 609
Thread inserts
Threaded inserts can be made from different materials, e.g. steel or stainless steel. KIPP thread inserts can be used to quickly and easily repair damaged, seized or stripped out tapped holes.
Threaded inserts can be used in materials such as wood, plastic or metal. Threaded inserts are usually supplied with matching locking wedges. These wedges guarantee a rotation lock in the event of vibration and torsion.
Some threaded inserts can be fitted by hand, others require special fitting tools and an electric or cordless screwdriver.
In addition to thread inserts, KIPP offers a complete repair kit and additionally, self-tapping threaded inserts.
Drill bushes from KIPP
Drill bushes facilitate drilling operations and contribute to the achievement of a high quality standard. Due to the stable running and constant penetration angle, drill bushes enable precise and high-quality drilling results.
In addition to consistent drilling results, the drill bushes enable workpieces to be drilled quickly without having to constantly measure and mark drilling points in advance.
In addition to all relevant DIN 179 and DIN 172 sizes, the KIPP range includes cylindrical drill bushes or drill bushes with collar in this product group.
Connectors for profiles and profile systems
Slot keys or T-slot nuts are often used to connect profiles and profile systems. KIPP also offers more complex connecting elements.
More complex connection sets in this wide product range are:
- Connecting sets
- DIN 6885 parallel keys
- Cube connectors
- Butt connectors
- T-head screws
Shaft collars, locking rings and clamp hubs
Objects can be fastened to a shaft using locking rings or shaft collars. For this purpose, the locking ring/shaft collar is locked on the shaft with screws. Locking rings rest against other machine parts and thus hold the shaft in a specific position. Shaft collars and locking rings are often used as stops in machine construction. The rings can also be used to simply and effectively limit the screw-in depth of spindle threads.
KIPP shaft collars are available in steel and stainless steel as per DIN 705.
Clamp hubs, on the other hand, are standardised parts used for securing. The design of the clamp hub prevents damage to the shaft.
Couplings
Metal bellows couplings from KIPP are usually used when precise movement and position transmission is required. The metal bellows couplings can be ordered either completely made of stainless steel or with an aluminium hub and stainless steel bellows. In our wide range, you can choose from various metal bellows couplings with the following properties:
- Short design
- With detachable clamp hub
- With grub screw
- Mini
In addition to the metal bellows couplings, you will also find a large selection of elastomer dog couplings. The elastomer dog couplings are available in both stainless steel and aluminium. The coupling spider is made from polyurethane. Here, too, there are different versions of the couplings:
- With clamping cone
- With claming hub
- Short design
- With detachable clamp hub
- With grub screw
Accessories for machine components and fixture elements (H2)
The Heinrich KIPP Werks product range also includes accessories for machine components and fixture elements. Here you will find various clamping joints, for example:
- Clamping joints with clamping lever
- Clamping joints with wing grip
- Individually adjustable clamping joints
The clamping joints are used for quick clamping and can be ordered in various sizes from the shop.
In addition to the clamping joints, you will also find the following products under accessories for machine components and fixture elements:
- Shim plates for elongated holes/squares
