Tube clamps from KIPP
Tubes can be connected easily and flexibly using tube connecting elements from KIPP. Tube clamps are a cost-effective and time-saving alternative to self-made or welded constructions. Both round tubes and square tubes can be reliably and stably connected using the tube clamps. Due to the simple push-fit system, they can be easily detached and reused several times without drilling, riveting or welding. This means that subsequent changes to the system can be implemented easily and without great effort.
Comparison of tube clamp materials: plastic, aluminium and stainless steel
Plastic tube clamps - for light loading
Plastic tube clamps are suitable for constructions with low mechanical loads. They are very popular in the food packaging industry and are characterised by their low weight. Main advantages of plastic tube clamps: · corrosion resistant · resistant to aggressive substances · inexpensive · appealing design. To ensure good stability, we recommend using aluminium tubes with plastic clamps. Tubes from the KIPP range are precisely matched to our tube clamps and guarantee a secure joint. The following sizes are available: · Plastic tube clamps for round tubes with diameters 18 mm and 30 mm - For square tubes sized 30 mm
Aluminium tube clamps - for the medium to heavy load range
KIPP offers a wide range of aluminium tube clamps. They are suitable for any tubular construction and are characterised by a higher load-bearing capacity compared to plastic models. Aluminium tube clamps are made from cast or extruded aluminium. The main advantages are: · quick and inexpensive assembly · multi-part clamps available suitable for retrofitting · robust · various designs. In our range you will find: · Aluminium tube clamps for round tubes with diameter 12 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm · Aluminium tube clamps for square tubes sized 25 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm
Stainless steel tube clamps - for shock-proof load sectors
Stainless steel tube clamps are high temperature resistant and specially designed for dynamic loads. The materials are also corrosion resistant and have a high flexural strength. They are made from investment cast stainless steel and the main advantages are: · very strong · vibration-proof · temperature and corrosion resistant · impact and shock resistant · electropolished surface finish. At KIPP you can obtain stainless steel tube clamps for round tubes with diameter 12 mm, 14 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm
Various versions of tube clamps
KIPP tube clamps can be divided into three categories – right angle tube clamps, inline tube clamps and swivel tube clamps.
Right angle tube clamps
Right-angled tube clamps connect tubes at a 90° angle to each other or at a 90° angle to the mounting surface. The right-angled tube clamp category includes - cross clamps- right-angle clamps- base clamps- T-angle clamps. Each tube clamp type is designed for special applications. While right-angle clamps are particularly suitable for corners, base lamps are also ideal for wall mounting. The various versions of right-angled tube clamps are optionally available with a removable head, which enables them to be retrofitted to existing systems. Different materials are available depending on the subsequent area of application.
Inline tube clamps
Inline tube clamps connect tubes to each other centrally or parallel to the mounting surface. To the family of inline tube clamps belong: · straight tube clamps and flange tube clamps. With straight tube clamps, shorter tubes can also be joined together. This means that offcuts can also be easily integrated into systems, minimising waste and reducing costs.
Swivel tube clamps
With swivel tube clamps, tubes can be connected to each other with the ability to swivel to any angle. The swivel range is at least 180°. They are available with and without a detent function. The swivel tube clamp category includes: · swivel half clamps · swivel clamps · swivel base clamps. The swivel tube clamps mean that there are virtually no limits when building structures. In addition, monitors or control panels can be positioned individually using these flexible tube clamps, enabling ergonomic workstations - customised to the individual user.
Various types of tube clamps
Joining different types of tube - With reducer sleeves, no problem
KIPP has two types of tube clamp in its range, tube clamps for square tubes and tube clamps for round tubes. Reducer sleeves can be used to convert square tubes to round tubes or round tubes to square tubes. Smaller tubes can also be connected: · K0491 Square reducer sleeve: Reduces the tube size or enables conversion from square tubes to round tubes · K0492 Round reducer sleeves: Reduces the tube diameter or enables conversion from round tubes to square tubes
Tube clamps for linear actuators
In addition to conventional tube clamps, KIPP also offers aluminium tube clamps for linear actuators. These are available as: · cross clamps · flange clamps · base clamps. Linear actuators can be easily secured or connected using these tube clamps.
